Welcome to Bear Photography, this website and blog is a place I fashioned to serve as a creative and visual outlet for my work. I am currently a Photography student studying in Nottingham, United Kingdom. Let me formally introduce myself, My name is Georgia most likely you will see me signing off blog posts as G. 
So for anyone who is curious here is a little about me.
I currently live in Nottingham but grew up in the North London area, North London is such a wonderful and interesting place and that is where Bear Photography started.
One sunny June afternoon in 2013 I was given the kind opportunity to photograph a friends wedding, I soon realised that being able to capture a moment for people is so beautiful and worth while I knew right there and then, that capturing moments like that was what i wanted to do.
From 2013 I have worked enthusiastically to develop my skills and my experience. I have established a style that is constantly evolving and changing just as I am.
One of the most frequent questions I get asked when people see me and my name is “do you take pictures of bears?” or “why are you a Bear?”.
So the name.
The story is fairly normal. No crazy obsession with bears or cool epic bear encounters. It just so happens to be that, growing up the nick name given to me by my close family (mainly my Dad) was ‘Bear’. Something to do with Goldilocks and the three Bears or something like that. The name was something personal to me and my Dad has had a big influence on my photography so it just made sense.
